Spikey is built for Discord! All games, commands, and interactions happen directly within your server channels. There's no need for external dashboards or websites.

Spikey respects Discord roles and permissions to ensure smooth operation and prevent unauthorized actions (see "Getting Started" for details on game host permissions).

🚀 How to Get Started

Ready to play? Here’s how:

For Players:

1. Invite Spikey to your server (if it's not already there) or join the official Spikey Discord server.
2. Run any Spikey command (like /help or a game command).
3. If it's your first time interacting with Spikey, you'll receive a prompt asking you to agree to its Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Once agreed, you're all set to play!

For Server Admins:

1. Invite Spikey to your server.
2. Best Practice: Restrict Spikey's interactions to specific "game" or "bot" channels using Discord's channel permission settings. This keeps your general chat tidy.
3. Important Game Hosting Rule: Only one multiplayer game (like GunGame, Mismatch, etc.) can be active in a single server at any given time.
4. Starting & Stopping Games: To prevent disruption and abuse, by default, only users with the Manage Messages permission can use commands that start multiplayer games (e.g., /gungame, /mismatch) or forcefully end an ongoing game (/reset). The /reset command will stop the current ongoing game.
5. Suggestion: Create a dedicated role (e.g., "Minigame Host" or "Event Manager") with the Manage Messages permission and assign it to trusted users who can initiate games.
6. Premium Bypass: Users with an active Spikey Premium subscription can start multiplayer games even *without* the Manage Messages permission. This allows supporters to easily utilize their benefits and let others enjoy premium game features.
